Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) can Chicken of the Sea® Whole Oysters, drained
- 5 Tablespoons butter, divided and melted
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup minced Italian parsley, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 3 Tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 2 Tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
- salt, to taste
- Optional for serving: crackers, toasts, or vegetables
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly oil a small baking dish.
- Lay the oysters in the baking dish in a single layer.
- In a bowl, combine 4 Tablespoons of melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, 3 Tablespoons of parsley, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Pour the butter mixture over the oysters.
- Bake the oysters for 15 minutes.
- While the oysters bake, combine the remaining 1 Tablespoon of melted butter, remaining 1 Tablespoon of parsley, bread crumbs, parmesan, and salt to taste.
- After the oysters have baked for 15 minutes, add the breadcrumb mixture on top.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes or until the bread crumbs are golden.
- Serve with crackers, toasts, or vegetables.
