Asian Chimichurri Shrimp Cocktail

Think beyond the traditional red shrimp cocktail sauce to something more flavorful, global and healthy. Asian chimichurri shrimp cocktail is the perfect appetizer to wow your guests at your next gathering.

  1. In a small food processor or personal blender, combine olive oil, cilantro, about half the sliced Thai chilies, garlic, fish sauce, honey, lime zest and juice, and salt. Briefly blend until texture is slightly coarse, or to your preferred texture.
  2. Add chimichurri sauce to serving bowl.
  3. Thinly slice red Thai chili and add to top of sauce.
  4. Arrange shrimp around the sauce and serve with lime wedges.
