Tuna Salad Ingredients
- 2 (5 oz) cans Chicken of the Sea® Solid White Albacore in Water, drained
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tablespoons celery, minced
- 2 Tablespoons red onion, minced
- 1/2 Tablespoon whole-grain mustard (or Dijon)
- 1 teaspoon minced flat-leaf parsley
- 1-2 tsp sweet pickle relish (optional)
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional)
Cheeseboard Options
- Choice of crackers, bread or pretzels
- Chopped vegetables: carrots, celery, cucumbers, sweet bell peppers
- Fruit: apples, pears, grapes, citrus
- Choice of cheeses: aged cheddar, smoked gouda, brie, blue cheese
- Pickles, olives, cornichons
Instructions
- Make the tuna salad: In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, celery, red onion, mustard, parsley and relish. Stir in the tuna and then season to taste with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Assemble the cheeseboard: place the tuna salad bowl in the middle of a large platter or cutting board. Assemble your choice of cheeseboard options around the platter.
