Tomato Tuna Melt

These tomatoes can be served as an app, a meal or even a snack—there are no rules! Simple, fresh and easy to create on a whim.

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to Broil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together tuna, yogurt, red onion, and dill or basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Arrange tomato slices on a parchment lined baking sheet pan. Top with tuna mixture.
  4. Cut Havarti slices in half, and place one half-slice atop each tomato.
  5. Place under broil and cook just until cheese is melted. Garnish with additional chopped fresh herbs.
